Productive Easter playing with leather

I had 4 days off from work for Easter so I used half of it to get creative!!! The results: 1 earing, 3 rings, 7 bracelets and 2 necklaces!!! 

 

                                  

                                        

                         

Nothing like a holiday to inspire us!

Since I started to give classes I decided the the money Ill get from it I would invest in new material and tools for my crafts!!! So I went to Costa Rica to visit my grandma and end up buy many new stuff!!!! I even had some little time since I came back and made a paper ring, 2 silver clay pendants and a resin pendant!

This is the sequence of the creation... I cut and glued one by one, then changed a bit the colour, filed, sandpapered and finally varnished.

I'm totally in love with the first pendant! I have been wearing everyday!! I really thing it looks very cool with the black yard!

And this one is the resin one. I just finished and I am just waiting Monday to finally show it off at work! The first pic is more to see the details... the real colours are the ones in the second pic...(I'm not very good at taking pics to be honest hahahah)

After long time....

....I'm back!!!! I did few things since last post I just didn't have the time to post it... The big new now is that I'm officially a handcraft teacher!!!! Despite of crazy extra hours at my normal job, Im feeling super fresh and motivated to create new stuff in all materials so I can show and teach my student!

Sewing the news...

Finally I'm having time to publish my last creations! I got a sewing machine for X-mas, and let's say that Switzerland is not the most affordable country to buy handcrafts materials... hahaha, so I had to improvise... My house mate had this curtain that was too long, so I made it shorter and used the rest of  the fabric to make us a cat bag  each!

Then my parents decided to visit me, so Mom and I went fabric shopping via whatssap! She was sending me the pics and I was choosing hahahah

With the new fabrics I made already 2 bags and one small box (was my phone box! I'm always up to upcycling everything!! I have one with the elephant fabric half way but still waiting the zipper to arrive....

Cookie time!

Every year at xmas time I can't resist some cookies baking time! This year I did not just the xmas cookies (I just sticked to my 2 faves recipes) but I did again a ginger bread house!

My first cake order!

I was super happy when my friend called me to order a cake for her son's birthday! That's my first cake sale!!! After some talking we decided to make what they call a pull apart cake. This cake is made of many cupcakes so the cake gets pulled apart instead of being cut. No mess and a lot easier! Here are some pics of my cute pull apart croco!

Mosaic with cds!

After doing some cleaning in the house I found plenty of old cds and decided to recycle them somehow. The result: super nice mosaic!!!!! Here are 3 pics in different of the same mosaic but with different light.
